How to Cook Chestnuts

Boiling chestnuts is the fastest way to cook them.

They can be crushed, preparing a puree to make sweets, fillings, soups, cakes and cookies. We can add some aromas to the chestnuts, with fennel, cinnamon, or even lemon zest, according to taste.

Generally, 1 cinnamon stick is used for every 1 kg and a lemon peel for every 400 gr.
